We are minutes from the big parade
The outside isn’t very far away
We’ve found a little sleepy glade
Let’s keep it that way.

Come into the meadow take my hand
Leave the busy byways where they be
Seconds in I’m sure you’ll understand
Smell a flower spend an hour
Sidewalk city free

Little Eden’s have been lost before
What’ya gonna do with folks who don’t play nice
Say let the garden grow we don’t need more
It’s still true what Joni knew about
Paving Paradise

Bring your friend we love to share the space
Though not for votes or honorable mentions
Keep the black tar scar off’a Mother Natures face
We all know damn well the road to hell
is paved with good intentions

This is it in a nut-shell, Some people in our city would like to turn our little piece of Heaven from natural to paved trails.
We just want it left the way it is. God knows there's enough tar and concrete around us already!
